Introducing the Auburn Deluxe Radial, the latest innovation in vintage tires. With a timeless design that includes a "pie crust" edge, square tread shoulder, and period-correct tread pattern, this tire combines the appearance of a bias ply with the technology of a 21st-century radial. Since the early 1960s, manufacturers have used various widths of whitewalls, with Cadillac being one of the most notable and ornate. From the 1970s onwards, Cadillac vehicles featured whitewalls ranging from 1 inch to double and triple stripes. LINCOLN SPECIALTY TIRES
Between 1970 and 1978, Lincoln used Michelin tires as original equipment on their Mark III, Mark IV, and Continental models. The size was initially 225R15 with a 3/8" white stripe, later changed to 230R15, and then reverted back to 225R15 with a 3/4" whitewall in 1979. During the 1976-78 period, Lincoln used domestic radials with small whitewalls but offered the Jubilee style as an optional whitewall. We have recorded the correct dimensions to reproduce this style, which features a two-stripe design with a 1 1/4" whitewall and 1/4" white accent stripe. The Auburn Premium radial tire's tread style is nearly identical to the original Michelin design.
