Canada Whitewall and Vintage is your one stop shop for almost all vintage and classic tires. Specializing in Radial Whitewalls, Red Lines, Gold Lines, and Blue Lines, the business is new in name only.

Owned and operated by Greg Smith of Port Sydney it is a continuance of the Smith family's history in the tire industry. Greg grew up at his Mom and Dad's Service Station and Restaurant, Smith's Service Centre in Port Sydney in the ‘60s and ‘70s. After going to York University he joined his Dad, Gord, in running the automotive aspect of the business where tires had become a large part of their success. It was here the seeds of experience were planted in the tire industry.

In 1988 the family business was sold and in 1990 Gord, Greg, and his good friend and mechanic Jamie Vanderveer joined forces to open The Rocky Island Tire Co Inc. in Bracebridge, Ontario. As time moved along Gord's 1/3 ownership was purchased and Jamie and Greg blazed a new trail in Bracebridge with state of the art Tire Service and Mechanical repair. Part of the growth was Whitewall and Vintage tire sales starting in about 2012. In 2015 they purchased Classic Tire Mart a small specialty business. After 33 years, in Feb 2023, Rocky Island Tire was sold to Kal Tire of Vernon B.C. Kal tire was not interested in Whitewall and Vintage tires, so Greg decided to continue his expertise in the industry and start Canada Whitewall and Vintage as a retirement project and a legacy business for him and his son Gavin.

Gavin, a graduate of Carleton University, has worked in the business growing up and more recently continues to work full-time in the tire industry- his enjoyment of the Whitewall industry has grown as his expertise and experience have grown.

Along with assistance from his wife Juli, and support from daughter Grace, Greg and Gavin supply tires from Coast to Coast and enjoy every minute.
